The annual Unlimited LJ Adventure is an exclusive event that takes place over 5-7 days in a different part of the country each year. The exact event route will be kept secret from all participants to keep the central theme that this is an adventure. An adventure isn't always a known or specific route, experience, or destination. It has twists and turns which increases excitement and anticipation. Participants will be given the starting location of the event and from there should be prepared for all types of terrain, as well as some road driving as we make our way between destinations. Road driving will be minimal, as our #1 goal is to explore the dirt roads of America and leave the pavement for the minivans. 

There are thousands of miles of off-road trails out there and we aim to one day see them all. 

The annual event is a complete off-road vacation, entirely planned out for your enjoyment. Our organizers pride themselves on planning an amazing, once in a lifetime adventure, that you just have to show up for. Everything from locations, routes, trails, accommodations, and activities are taken care of.

You are responsible for the driving, the fuel, and your food.

Each annual event has it’s own requirements based on the terrain and trails being tackled. Participants must meet the requirements for that specific event in order to participate. Each annual event is also a different time each year. We try to select a time period that has the most ideal weather for the location being traveled too.

 

Along with the vehicle requirements, there is also a list of rules for each event to be aware of.

Participation in this event is determined by a lottery drawing.

  • Participants are responsible for all of their own expenses which include transportation to and from, food, water, fuel, repairs, ect., unless otherwise mentioned.

  • Fees for this event range somewhere around $1,300 for the week, per vehicle. Fees such as camping fees, accommodations, use fees, activities, and permit fees are passed on to the attendees and make up the monetary range. You will be required to pay your portion of the fees prior to the event.

  • Upon selection for the event, each participant must pay a $150 deposit to hold their selected spot on the event.

  • Only one vehicle per invitee with a max of two people per vehicle.

  • We are pet lovers, but please understand that when planning the annual event, we do not take pets into consideration. As such, if any part of our event does not allow pets, we will not allow them to attend at all. This will be noted with the event requirements.

  • All attendees are required to run the provided windshield banner the entire duration of the event.

  • We are not responsible for you during this event.


2024 will be the 9th year of the Unlimited LJ Adventure. This year’s event will take place October 20th-25th, 2024.

This event has been nicknamed the Hill Country Adventure.
